The Three Cardinal Food Rules

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 12:00 am

If there’s one thing we’ve learned from all the countless weight loss specials on Direct TV it’s that nutrition is different for every person. If you’re wondering what to eat and when, remember the three golden rules of eating right:
Less In, More Out Weight Loss: If your goal is to lose weight you’ve got to take in less calories than you’re expending each day. It’s that simple. This means you should cut your diet safely and start exercising to burn additional calories.
More Water: If there’s one thing we love it’s that you can drink as much water as you want any day of the week. We don’t care if you flavor it, drink it carbonated, or just chug glasses at your desk. Water is good for your waistline and your health.
“Eat Food, Not Too Much, Mostly Plants”: Ripped from the first page of “In Defense of Food” this line is all you need to remember. Don’t rely too heavily on animal proteins or fats and try to eat as many plants as possible each and every day.
